Delicious is a “social bookmarking service that allows users to tag, save, manage and share web pages from a centralised source,” (About, n.d.). It’s a great way of sharing resources on the internet. There is actually a delicious widget in WordPress, which is how I stumbled across it!
Tutpup is a website for students based on numeracy. It focuses on “helping children gain confidence and mastery of basic educational skills,” (Tutpup, 2008). The site is very supportive of teachers, parents and other users. Check it out if you get a chance!
Ziptales is an interactive site which aims to assist children in literacy. The ebooks in the library have been written specially for Ziptales by Australian authors. Comprehension work is also provided along with a manual to assist teachers in implementing the resource. It’s an excellent site to sign up to if you’re working in a school.
