This page is dedicated to my personal resources, however on the left hand sidebar, there are additional links to picture books and useful links and references.
Over the years, whether this be for practicums or university assessments, I have made and collected a number of resources, some of which I’d like to share with you all:
- The first is an action research report which was written with my colleagues, Ingrid Fizely and Sherree Spargo. It is based upon our own interest in engaging students, hence it is appropriately titled – How can we maximise student engagement in the classroom? This is accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation. Action Research Report and ARP PowerPoint Presentation.
- The following Resource Portfolio from the subject Indigenous Cultures and Peoples features a selection of resources and lesson ideas.
The following lessons have been utilised in K – 6 classrooms:
- Creative Arts - This art lesson is titled Me, Myself and I, and you can view the lesson plan here. Click here for examples of the artworks based on the above lesson from Stage Two.
- Religion - an assessment task for Stage Two based on Celebrating the Eucharist (Sharing Our Story Syllabus) along with an accompanying PowerPoint presentation.
- Maths - an assessment task for Stage Three with a work sample. The particular student who completed this assessment (it was given to a class of 32 students) showed a sound understanding of the content covered in Area.
